Bob and Frances wanted to be good stewards of the gifts they have received from God so in 2006 they formed the Robert & Frances Chaney Family Foundation as a way to help others.
Bob cared deeply about children and families, with a special concern for public safety personnel, their families, and the many wonderful organizations they represent, including fire and police departments.
The geographic areas were chosen because the family resided in Southern Oregon and Barry County, Missouri, and Robert's hometown was in Cabell County, West Virginia.
Upon Bob's passing in October 2006, Frances Chaney took over the role of President with the determination to carry out the Foundation’s vision.
2 Corinthians 9:11-12
(11) Yes, God will give you much so that you can give away much, and when we take your gifts to those who need them they will break out into thanksgiving and praise to God for your help. (12) So, two good things happen as a result of your gifts - those in need are helped, and they overflow with thanks to God.
